Anomalies wandered through the city, drawing attention from curious—and sometimes horrified—passers-by. Red-eyed blobs with personal bubble-fields waded through human crowds. Hooded figures with misshapen bodies stood in the middle of the street, holding up traffic. A lone wayfarer waited on the corner of Lynx and Manor staring a brick wall. When Rita entered the subway, a pair of creatures with flat featureless faces looked up from their seats, following her with empty opal-colored eyes. The Rift may have opened up the world for interplanar travel, but that did not mean the transition would be easy in the slightest.
